Boulder Bike & Brew Fest 2015 – Details coming together

 

The 2015 Boulder Bike & Brew Fest, a production of Cyclists 4 Community, is set to take place on August 15, 2015 at the City of Boulder’s Valmont Bike Park.  The all day event will include race clinics, mountain bike, cyclocross and dual slalom competitions, as well as an expo featuring great food, music, and more than a dozen local craft breweries offering tastings.  Half of the proceeds raised will benefit the Emergency Family Assistance Association and the Boulder Mountain Bike Alliance, with the rest going to Cyclists 4 Community to be applied toward fulfilling its mission.  Admission to attend is free.

Clinics and Races

The day will start with race clinics for mountain bike and cyclocross, covering skills such as cornering, mounting and dismounting, sand pits.  Participants of all ages will then be able to enter races around the track.  Simultaneously, there will be a dual slalom competition happening.  Spectators will be able to watch the competition and enjoy cold beer and other refreshments from Boulder Beer.  The first clinics will start at 9am with racing concluding at 6pm.Tentative Schedule.

Craft Brew Fest & Expo

More than a dozen breweries have committed so far include Avery Brewing, Boulder Beer, BRU Handbuilt Ales, City Star Brewing, FATE Brewing, Finkel & Garf’s, Left Hand Brewing, Oskar Blues, Sanitas Brewing, Ska Brewing, Twisted Pine, Upslope, and Wild Woods. Beer will be pouring from 3pm to 7pm.  Several bands will also be performing throughout the day.

Food will be provided by Big Red F and other local food trucks.  The expo will be open all day for local businesses and supporters. available for all sponsors, and will be free for all nonprofits.  Sponsors are lining up quickly, with the Colorado Athletic Club and Oskar Blues already committed as Gold level sponsors.  If you are interested in sponsoring, please contact us.
