The idea for Cyclists 4 Community started in September 2013, immediately following the devastating floods that left Boulder County, and especially the towns we love to ride in, in ruins.  As cyclists, we felt that it was time to make a stand and help these communities bounce back.  During our first year, we held 3 events, the Cyclists 4 Jamestown, the Fat Tire Flurry winter ride to Jamestown, and Cyclists 4 Lyons, which combined raised more than $200,000 to help the towns of Jamestown and Lyons recover.
